Mango and Coconut delight Smoothie
- 1 Banana
- 1 Mango
- 250 mls Coconut Milk
- Sweetened desiccated coconut
- 1 Apple
- Half a Teaspoon of Manuka Honey
Instructions Blend everything together and enjoy!
Mango- A SUPER antioxidant; compounds within the fruit have been found to protect against colon, breast, Leukemia and prostate cancers. Lowers cholesterol and is great for eye health and clear skin.
Banana- Bananas have a unique mix of vitamins, minerals, and low glycemic carbohydrates which has made them a favourite amongst gym goers and athletes. Bananas aid digestion and maintains normal blood pressure and heart function.
Coconut Milk- Coconuts are rich in fibre, vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6 and minerals including iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorous. Coconut milk is a great substitute those with lactose intolerance… that includes my little one!
Manuka Honey- Amazing healing and energy boosting properties.
Green Apple- Contains natural anti-aging properties, eliminates dark eye circles, improves skin texture and health, boosts hair growth and prevents hair loss, promotes healthy strong bones and boosts your metabolism.
Sweetened desiccated coconut- This is a dried version of raw coconut, therefore a lot of the moisture has been removed. As it’s the sweetened version, it was mainly used for taste… a little sweet treat 🙂
